Dennis Langley is a writer who lives in Wisconsin working as a Certified Business Continuity Manager. He has published articles appearing in Stick and String, a traditional archery magazine and Gardener’s Grapevine, a gardening advice column for several Midwest newspapers. His interest in writing fantasy fiction began in the late seventies when he would create character backgrounds for role-playing gamers.
Along with Good Night’s Sleep, a completed short story, his current projects include: Smoke and Goblet, a sword and sorcery novel, and Snake Rattles, a contemporary western fantasy novella.
He attended Upper Iowa University where he earned a B.S. degree in Professional Biology. Routinely, he attends classes at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. He belongs to the Sun Prairie Writer’s Group, the TC Fantasy Guild and two other writers groups in the Twin Cities.
When not writing, his spare time is devoted to fishing on any of the lakes near his home, shooting traditional archery (Longbows and recurve bows), shooting IDPA, and working in his garden. During the long winters in Wisconsin he makes and restores knives.
Born in Coldwater, Michigan, he would say he’s been in hot water ever since. He grew up in a suburb north of Chicago near Lake Michigan. Currently, Dennis shares a house with his wife and two cats.
