Dennis Langley is a writer who lives in Minnesota working as a Certified Business Continuity Coordinator. He has published articles appearing in Stick and String, a traditional archery magazine and Gardener’s Grapevine, a gardening advice column for several Midwest newspapers. His interest in writing fantasy fiction began in the late seventies when he would create character backgrounds for role-playing gamers.
Along with Good Night’s Sleep, a completed short story, his current projects include: Smoke and Goblet, a sword and sorcery novel, and Actress and the Warlock, a contemporary western fantasy novella.
He attended Upper Iowa University where he earned a B.S. degree in Professional Biology. Routinely, he attends classes at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. He belongs to the TC Fantasy Guild and two other writers groups in the Twin Cities.
When not writing, his spare time is devoted to fishing on any of the 10,000 lakes near his home, shooting traditional archery (Longbows and recurve bows), and volunteering as a Master Gardener through the University of Minnesota Extension Program. During the long winters in Minnesota, he makes and restores knives.
Born in Coldwater, Michigan, he would say he’s been in hot water ever since. He grew up in a suburb north of Chicago near Lake Michigan. Currently, Dennis shares a house and cabin with his wife and two cats.
